Thank you to everyone for the "welcomes" I can tell the TrailBlazer community is pretty friendly. I look forward for many years or going off road. JamesDowing, I have read your thread on your suspension and tire setup, I love your set up and the look you have on your Trailblazer, with copying you I plan to try to make a same sort of setup. Any advise would be awesome although I know there are no free rides in this world so I will keep trying to do some more research and keep reading different threads.

Advice eh? Lots of reading, lots of research. Luckily, lots of it has been done before, so you'll find most of the information you're looking for already laid out. Use that information to your advantage, and make the right choices, not the cheap choices.

Welcome. If your dead set on just a brush guard, let me know, I can do some digging and find the manufacturer of the one I had sent to Mike to add to the bumper he built for us. I would recommend just going with his build though, much stronger and much less expense.

Bumper Kits are the way to go. Anyone with access to a welder should do it. I love mine. Even though I bought a kit, I still feel as though I built my bumper.
