I was danger close to making the stupid mistake of selling my '05 Trailblazer. i want tot build a trail rig and didn't think there was much out there until i found you guys. I haven't done anything yet. I don't have enough money to do it all at once so this is going to take awhile. I think I will start with the lift and tires first. please feel free to make any suggestions you feel would help! Thanks guys!

Welcome. My advice is to do your research and make good decisions up front. Set a budget, then blow it up.

Agreed, we'll probably never see a price this good again. But if that's not in your budget a lot of us will have our BDS and Liftmeister suspensions up for sale shortly. Many of us took years to build ours, its quite a money pit but we love what we do. So don't feel like you need to dump thousands right out of the hole.

Welcome! When I started planning my budget I found that tires and wheels were the most expensive single item on my list. Something I encourge people to do is consider where you want to end up. If you make a plan and build once, you save a lot of money. I found used wheels on Ebay and used tires on Craigslist, allowing me to build my rig much faster than I expected! Also, if you can afford the Radflo, as mentioned above, it is unlikely to ever beat the deal. However, if you can't afford that, some used lift kits may come up soon.
