I had everything pretty much lined up come to the last one but my wife had surgery. It might work out that I can come to this one, I'll have to see as we get closer to Sept.

Funny you mention that... You know I have the same size gas tank and worse gas milage than most right? lol I have no spare tire, no rock sliders, ect... But I wanna go! lol

We were fine without the sliders. Barely cleared what all the other guys used their sliders on, lol, cept Anton. But I would HIGHLY recommend the spare.

Oh, and a good CB radio and firestick antenna.

Go grab a 17in steelie from a junk yard and get a cheap 35 just to get you home. Should work out well for Tecore!

I've got some tires. Same as what I'm running. I would have to get a wheel and a mount. Probably a hitch mount. I don't have a roof rack, and I'm imagining space inside could get tight.

We've got ours standing up in the back, tied down to one side. Had plenty of room with the three of us when we went to Kentucky for a 4 day weekend of camping.

To clarify, that was us and a dog who took up the dropped back seats as her spot to sprawl out.

Erik, I'd bet that you'd be fine with the spare inside or on the roof, one of those. Simple roof mounting is actually really easy on these trucks... just wedge your tire between the two load bars, so the rubber is sitting on the roof itself (not on the load bars), and run an X of ratchet straps across the top. It won't go anywhere. I did that for a few months before I got my first rear tire carrier - no notable roof damage.

I don't have a roof rack because it's an SS. Inside is an option. I'd like to see a picture of how JorDaneeKey got her's upright inside the truck!
