Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

A little bit of PCM hell

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

I am getting ready to send my computer in for tune. What can I expect? I know this is an older thread. Wanted some feedback.

Sheer awesomeness
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

Yup, essentially everyone that has done it is happy with it.

Is it the same as going to a dyno shop to have it tuned? Or does PCM4Less do different things that a dyno tuner couldn't? Just wondering.

Assuming the guy tuning it on the dyno knows what they are doing they could likely get a better tune/more power (closer to the edge as far as air/fuel ratio) done for you. They would also be able to do everything else pcm4less does. But you're also going to be paying for it... dyno time ain't cheap.
The pcm4less tune is a safe improvement that works for the wide variety of trucks in their various states of maintenance. It's a decent gain that's proven safe for the motor at a really good price considering the options available to you. You just have to decide how you want to go and how much you want to spend.
