The stinger could be a little closer to vertical (and a little shorter), for me, but have to see how it ends up looking with the braces on there.

If I found a totalled SS for a good price tomorrow, I'd buy it and put it on tons. I'd sell off all the stuff for this Runner project I still haven't finished.
I own too many vehicles now. Let's leave it at that.

I think we'd need to see some decent heads put on before the longtubes. But essentially I agree.

The stinger needs to be at the angle you think would be necessary to keep you from going ass over end. I don't think that's a serious worry with our trucks. But it's the intention of a stinger. There are guys that have flopped them on their sides.

It looks really bad ass, nice to see another Trailblazer getting up higher. I don't care if it's an SS or not.

adding a cowl hood like Kuchar has would really add to it I think.
I'm more of a function over form guy but that hood really sets his lifted truck apart.

Even a catback. I couldn't not have a v8 and have stock exhaust. I'm sure even the 5.3L can be made to sound good. But it's a personal preference. :)

I have to agree, both his mirrors and the hood have been on me and the mrs. wishlist.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

I think that picture of the stinger bar makes it look like it sticks out further than it does. It is 11" up and 12" out from the front face of the bumper. What do most people end up with? I took about 1 1/2" off while trying to find the right angles for welding it on at the pitch that I like. I like that it's so wide because it welded onto the bumper near the joint where I have good strong welds to help make it stronger. I'm also planning to mount my front plate into my 2" receiver... So I will have to get that done to help see the angles and stuff.

It's really personal preference. I normally do them about like this:

And what you have, is exactly the same bend dimensions that Kyle's is made from. Maybe sticking out 6" from the front face of the bumper to the center of the tube.

We slid a winch into my 2" reciever today. (thanks AJ) I'm leaning towards leaving that angle. It looks good with a winch in there.

Well, we are on the OffRoadTB site. I'm not so sure the TBSSowners group will agree. (note, I'm not on TBSSowners) :flex dirty: lol

I got my MDB fabrication radiator and oil pan skid plates mounted. I have a lot to do to them still though... I will take pictuers when they are done.
