I have some rust on the inside of my doors that I am going to use Chassis Saver Rust Convertor on and one spot has shown up on the outer door edge as well. Also have a couple minor dings in lower driver door and tons of rock chips and scratches from wheeling.  So I got a gallon of Black Monstaliner as well to do the outside of the doors.  Problem is I am not sure how I want to do it or now that I removed the side moldings, if I even want to cause I like how it looks and I could possibly just sand and touch up the outer lil spot. Size of 1/2 a quarter on bottm of door.
 
So my options are...
 
 
Leave it as is and just do inner doors and touch up the lil spot on outside...

 
 
Do the bottom 5-6 inches to where the curve smoothes out..(sorry for crappy MS paint)

 
 
Do up to level with the front and rear bumpers for a basically straight line around the truck...(older photoshop)

 
 
Do the lower doors and over the fender flares as well...(Older photoshop)

 
Any thoughts from people? I will likely try an initial test with some plasti-dip, but the MonstaLiner is a gloss finish and texture that matches my powdercoated bumpers. Plasti will be dull and flat, but is removable.

The last photo looks great. As I'm sure you've seen, Mario did something similar to his truck and it looks fantastic. He used some really rough bed liner.

Really not sure on the flares painted. I have janesys 07 tb and it is herculined like the last pic. Not a real fan myself.

I like the flares not painted. It's white and black, it starts looking like a raccoon at that point. The straight line is pretty clean two tone, IMO. Just black the whole truck out!

I like the second to last, which is level with the bumpers. So if it is not looking good in real you could domthe flares too

That's my plan for the 04. It is already black but I'm gonna rhino line the entire body, only gonna be used for spotting and off reading... Don't care about looks

I like the flares painted, level with bumper makes it look like a Cherokee. Looks great on Mario's. Don't want to be called a Jeep wannabe anyway!

Combine 1&3. Coverage of the doors in the first photo, with the flares from the third. The body coverage of 2&3 is too much black... And I like blacked out trucks.

I agree with Ed. Doors only 5-6 inches up on the 1st picture and then the flares like on 3.

Any chance someone can Photoshop that look...6 in bottom and flares?
