SS lift anyone???

New members: please introduce yourself here.

Hi everyone!

Thanks for building such a cool offroad trailblazer site! I started with member name EJNchat for a few months lurking, reading and learning. I like this member name MUCH better. I've met up with AJ (hotness) and started the process of picking and choosing tire size, offset, lift size ect. Thanks man!

I'm starting with a 2008 Trailblazer SS. I've already done a 4L80E conversion with a selectable Tcase from a 2006 2500HD pickup.

Time and money allowing, I intend to do Radflo front suspension. MarkMC is working on a custom SS body lift. I also plan to get wheel adapters and rear spring blocks from him. With Z71 rear springs and Skyjacker shocks I hope to fit 33" tires nicely under there. I don't have anything paid for yet, but I still hope to have it lifted this summer, and do my "armor" next spring. (unless someone has skids for sale???)

I hope to continue to learn while meeting new cool people!

Welcome. Definitely a unique build. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, but I guess we'll see.

You say the word and I will be there to help with this install. AJ has my contact info and will be able to get a hold of me easily.

Side note, do you still have your original tranny? I am in the market for one.

Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

390 hp, 410 gears and 35's, that would be nice!

Sorry, the guy who built my 80 cut me a deal because he needed my 70. I don't have any transmissions at this time.

Mark mentioned something about the radiator mount. I would have to ask Mark if there are any other differences. We had talked about a 4 inch body lift but someone reminded him that it causes a bind in the steering.

That makes some sense since the radiators are different. But you'd be better off building your own to move the radiator back up. I am not too impressed with the current setup of the kit and the radiator support.
