Well in order to get 33's under mine I had to use marks new lift (front and rear) Z71 rear springs, 87 Front springs, Wheel spacers and cut 2" x 14" of the rear side of front fender wells.

But I dont see the point of posing with a Mall Crawler.

i knew this would be a problem with people here thats why i worded it like that.

no my goal is to put a nice set of 33" no more... for an "off raoding" vehicle i have my jeep wrangler. i dont see how this vehicle can out preform my wrangler in any way. (obviously with good driver behind the wheel in both and the same amount of work done) this is a mall crawler for me since i prefer to go mudding/rock crawling/ off roading with my other vehicle. and not to mention its my "dad" car... i need to take my 10 month old to places.. if i go beat it up on the trail brake stuff.... then i be assed out a car.

so heres the truth. say what you might say about me and my decisions about my vehicle but at the end of the day its MY car and i could use it or do whatever mods i want to it. and if i feel more comfortable taking a vehicle a mile or 2 into the woods with a more capable or suited vehicle then thats just how i feel. i don't see the necessity to lift these "mid-sized FAMILY suv" vehicle to go off roading and brake a bunch of stuff scratch it up stress the automatic trans with my dinky inline6 for what.... no need for that..

FOR ME... not saying in general please dont think that I dont think this vehicle couldn't handle what you throw at it... im my opinion and my situation. there is no need for me to do all this to my "dad" everyday driver.

so this being said i just to please respect my decision on where i go with this car and if i just want the "look" then so be it. i must have a reason behind what i do and how i do it. not that i am a poser of any sort. like i have mentioned before ive been at this for some time now with my pops introducing me when i was very young into this life. and ive had all sorts of vehicles and tried different methods and have a lot of experience under my belt to know better then to try to mod this vehicle so much so when i know its not going to out preform my wrangler nor my pops wrangler for that matter and that one is lightly modded.

again sorry if this offended anyone... and believe me when i say its not that i dont think it can handle it... this is just being said because of my situation and belief.

LOL, the dinky inline 6 that is 200cc larger than the inline 6 in your Jeep, and has 100 more HP?

To fit 33" tires, you're going to have do a lot of lifting and cutting on the body, since you have to cut on a Trailblazer with 3" of lift, and the Envoy has smaller fender openings.

Honestly, do what you want with it... It's yours, and you don't have to justify your use to anybody but yourself (and your wife. Remember, like my boss says, "Women control 1/2 the money and ALL the p----").

IMO, it's better to say you're doing it for looks, rather than doing it for looks, talking like you're going to wheel it, and never actually doing it. (This is not directed at anybody)

my wrangler has a sbc with a muncie trans. 12" rear and all kinds of goodies done to it.

Great! My point is that at least you're behing honest, and that you don't have to justify it to anybody but you and yours. That's not to say there won't be some ribbing in good fun, though...

Oh, good! So it's a bunch of good parts under a Jeep tub! Much like my 1st gen Cummins is a 12-valve 6BT, a Getrag 360 5-speed trans, a cast iron NP-205 T-case, and a 4.10 geared Dana 70 and a Dana 60, that had a Dodge shat on top of them.
