I have the KM2's and very happy with them. Wanted a mud tire and heard a lot of good reviews on them...

It's a difficult decision... it will be somewhere between Km2 and MTR Kevlar !
Very hard to say ..

I have the km2's and the performance with them has been exceptional. Wear is slow and on road they work well for a mud tire. The lug hum from road driving isn't bad at all either.

I just picked up a set of 33" stt haven't had a chance to mount them yet. I will let you know how they work out. They seem to have alot of great reviews online. I was planning on running 35's but my buddy hooked me up with a great deal on this used set, $99 bucks otd for a set of 4 with over half thread left.

1. Just bought and sold a brand new set of 315s since they are just not aggressive enough, but good strength.
2. Great all around, but not so much good in snow.
3. 2 ply sidewall....NOPE
4. Absolute junk. Never known anyone to actually have good luck with them. Kevlar slips, they cup like hell.
5. Nice with a three ply sidewall.

The KM2 if you will wheel alot, but if more mixed duty I would give the Coopers a shot. Seems that people that get them love them and usually buy them again.

2 ply sidewalls, but a nice aggresive AT.

I would easily recommend the Pro Comp Xtreme MT. They are one of the best tires I have ever owned. I am going with the treadwright Guard Dogs this time around due to cost alone. If I had the funds available i would have gone with the same tires, but upgrading the steering and drivetrain was more important and I want to give Treadwright a try.

Truly the first time I have ever heard negative about these tires. While they will never be a swamper, I have never had a set of radial mud tires do better. Tried about all of them. The km2's are about the closest radial I have used in terms of performance.

Im running a set of old style MTRs now. While the mtrs arent great in the snow, they are still better than the pro comps, plus a mile better in the rocks. Mud they do about the same. I had bad luck with the tread chunking out.

On the road tho, the pro comps do really well.

I just bought myself a set of 255/85/16 KM2s. Road noise is super-quiet compared to my Cooper STs (not a typo). I have yet to test them offroad.

My pro comps are great in snow. 2wd is all I need. They do chunk a bit but are amazing for mud n dirt traction. Amazing trail tires and at 30k I have 12/32nds of perfectly even worn tread left.

Ill take some pictures, I was damn near ripping lugs off in the rocks, (due to the hard tread compound) my swampers and mtrs have had no issues on the same trail. The hard tread also explains the mileage.
