Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

My TB is down for the count...

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

At least I see you got the entire inner housing out of the oil pan. I was worried your next post was going to be "how do I get a broken inner housing out of the oil pan." Which we all know the answer to: drill and chisel. :woot:

Just placed my order for the AWD disco. Thanks for that insight, JD. Paid the extra for 1 day shipping, so it should get here tomorrow. :woot: Then if Mr Norie still has his TrailHazer, then we can get out there and raise some hell.
This is more exciting than xmas! Probably because I was on duty for xmas day, but no biggie there!

I knew I smelled my name. But I really cant decide what to do. Guy is very very very interested and has a loan check, but I am having a really hard time wanting to go all the way through with it as I know for a fact I will regret every second of it so since I cant meet the guy this weekend this is officially the deciding weekend. Do you still have anything going on during the week? we could get out there on Tuesday if you are interested, maybe even monday night into tuesday :friday: ?

Assuming my part comes in tomorrow like it's supposed to, I'll install it on the spot and we could head out sunday-monday, but I gotta work tuesday morning

I cant do that, my brother and cousin came down from norcal to be here for my birthday and I work until 8 am sunday and start at 7 on Monday. Maybe Wednesday? Otherwise Saturday or Sunday of next week?

As I told Nick last night, worrying about the two of you guys being out there together is going to ruin my sleep. But at least if Nick doesn't tailgate you there should be ONE running vehicle to get you home.

With such an impeccable string of perfect decision-making and judgement calls in your combined resumes, indeed. What COULD go wrong?

At least you don't go around dragging your pregnant girlfriends out there with you to get stuck.

Seriously, I'm going to be in Korea from probably the 9th through the 28th of Jan. Be careful. :drive:

Absolutely nothing! Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr absolutely everything. Either way I think between us we could have a really fun trip without too much to worry about. Before we go I will warn a couple of buddies that could come to the rescue if the need arises, but I think we could find people out there with enough power to help this time of year.

I'm razzin' ya. I totally agree. Just have a plan ahead of time, LEAVE A FLIGHT PLAN BEHIND, and have a communication tree for rescue if you're out of touch. I will also lend you the SPOT beacon and bridging ladders because they do me no good in Korea. Come over sometime in the next week and I'll set up a SPOT profile for you or Michael.

You might as well set it up for us to track them... And we can't say we will send in the Marines, if they find out it is bacon out there they might let him wait for a while. :poke:

You're the only one we got who could actually request a military helicopter extraction and get one. We're jealous. :woot:

You're also one of the guys I'd trust to use bridging ladders properly, because you did already.

Cool. I'm probably leaving for Massachusetts on Sunday or Monday. My mother is more important at the moment than shipping systems to Korea, so I won't be wheeling anywhere for a few weeks. Come on by sometime before you go offroading, and borrow some gear, would ya?
