It was not I....lol

I PM'd HPI and Chevy4life on the OS....no reply as of yet. Also, I just read on Yahoo that we'll get to experience a cool phenomenon while we are up there. Friday night, the 18th.....

http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20090911/ ... hemilkyway

Check out the link....remembering the view from last TECORE at the top of the mountain, we might get an EXTRA cool view.

NICE!

As long as the weather turns out ok, it should be prime star gazing time. I didn't see anything specific about Friday though... sounds like the milky way will be generally more visible overall during that time though, right?

If there was something specific about Fri, maybe I missed it??

Dan the grey I did for you before was the lighter of the two colors I had wasn't it?
By silver do you mean the etched glass looking vinyl or I have metalic silver?
Let Gordinho know by monday what you want and he can email me and I'll get them to him in time for your meet.

Where's the countdown ???

I read the post from high voltage. Can you put me down for the metallic silver stickers? That should be close if not the same as my trailvoy.com sticker.

Yea, Gray is perfect...

Yea Jeff, the color I got was the lighter color....I think I'd like them in the darker gray this time though, just to see how they compare...

WOOT! CB installed, went with a Cobra 19 Ultra III... $40... I originally planned on doing an antenna set up similar to JD's, but was convinced by the guy at the radio shop, to do a pillar mount. 2 holes drilled into the rear quarter just in front of the pass side tail light. I left the shop with a 3' Wilson Flex antenna with tunable tip... but after realizing that the mount had to go much lower, I now feel that I need at least 4', perhaps 5'... so I'll be going back to the shop on Monday.

I have the mount in place, cable wired and ran, CB installed and awaiting taller antenna so that it can be tuned and connected.

Was dark when I got the install finished, so I'll take pics later...

Its now 5AM and I haven't been able to sleep since I HAD to put together a Build Thread... LOL

Nice. Can't wait to see the mount pix. If I get time I will fab up a new mount for my antenna. If not I will be stuck using a magnetic mount antenna that I also have :flower:
Speaking of being up late. I was up late working on My skid plate too. viewforum.php?f=9 Not that late though. Had to stop grinding when it got dark. I was up till round 2-2:30 then my puppy woke me up at 5:00. Couldn't get back to sleep after that.

Chances are, there will be another one around April... That was when they had the first one.

I expect it to have a different name next time though... but that's just me... :flex dirty:

Doesn't house hunting happen on your own schedule? You're busy next weekend! Can't do it!

Normally, yes. But I might be dealing with some unforeseen time restrictions. Only a faint thought right now, but I'm just trying to keep you in the loop.

COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS BABY!! :excited:

Checklist of stuff I gotta do before I leave on Thurs....
1. 2 new tires mounted on rear, rotate fronts
2. Mount full size spare on roof rack
3. Alignment and balance
4. Oil Change
5. Mount rear facing Hella's (maybe Baja's on sides)
6. Mount CB and make it freakin' work! (might need ur help Thurs evening Mario!)
7 If I have time, build small wind fairing for front of basket that's tall enough to block
my spare tire, and not kill my MPG's!! We'll see if I get around to that

All my gear is still sitting in a nicely stacked pile in the garage. Bringing less this time around. Only the 2 of us, so we'll have plenty of room.
Can't wait gents!! Gonna be a great trip!! :flex dirty: :flex dirty:
