You can only put Z71's in the rear of the vehicle for 1.5inch of additional height (over stock) or you can do like a few others and get the Skyjacker springs (c25r) which give 4" heigh over stock (no need for rear spacer).

A lot of us have had problems with the spacer that goes above the strut, you'll have to read the thread on upper bushing failure for yourself and make a decision. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3361

I went BDS route based on price, and mine failed within the first year, now I'm buying Radflo's. Factor that into the cost and the reality is Radflo's would of been cheaper.

They're also a custom coil over, so rather than a block on top, they're full length up to 4 inches over stock ride height (I believe) along with a #620lb front spring.

Read here for factory spring options for the front: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=158

A lot of us are at a point were we keep saying we should of done the Radflo's first, so it's become a thing to just say hey, if you got the cash, do it, if not, and you're a patient person, might be worth saving up for, depending on your goals.

Lots of folks though have been fine with something like The Lift Miesters 3" suspension lift. Hard to argue with the price.

DO AVOID CHEAP KITS on EBAY, that route has been throughly discussed and proven. Go with quality, proven vendors.

It just comes down to your personal preference, money situation, goals and time frame.

Good luck! Look forward to seeing your progress.

Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

like Mike said, front and rears are not interchangeable.
Anything much over 3" in the front and you potentially run into issues with CV binding and shocks topping out. I think there are a few that have fine tuned their lifts and have gotten closer to 4" but I think 3" is the normal ceiling.

I've run the Rough Country kit up front for a couple of years with no issues. I don't do the heavy off roading that a lot of guys here do but I've spent a good many miles on washboards with no issues.

Hooray another Colorado person! (I think that makes 2 now?) Welcome...

190k on a 2004? Wow! I also have a 2004 LT, and only have 95k on mine -- Guess it didn't get driven much before I bought it. So what gears and tires are you running now? Besides suspension lifts, have you looked into PCM tunes? Intake mods? A good steel bumper to mount a winch to? I've done quite a bit to my TB, let me know if you ever want to see the results.

Hey guys, I just picked up a 2006 LT with 103k. Planning on some simple mods. Just figured I would say hi in the Colorado intro.

Hi Welcome. We like simple mods! Feel free to start your own intro thread.

I'm in Aurora. DIA area, not quite that far east. Simple mods for exploring. Small list, tires, protection.

Protection... I *still* haven't made rock sliders for my truck. Maybe I can get it on my list for next year. At least I got the bumper and radiator skid done.
