That's the polite way of telling the southern guys and gals to stop being pussies. :cat: :flower:

Georgia is a long drive, depending on what part of FL you are in. We were in Georgia last weekend, along with Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina. I refuse to look at the gas bill. Lol

You're right, I can drive all day. I like driving, and I know you and Mike aren't afraid of long hauls. It's the fuel bill that absolutely kills.

I don't mind spending money, but the reality is now, what we spent driving out to UTAH is now what it costs to drive on 35's to TECORE. Seriously.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

The quality of the drive in Georgia is heavily dependent on the interstate you take. 16 is the American equivalent of the Autobahn, while 400 is a parking lot. I suppose you could say the same about any state, but between construction, police, and drivers, it's.. unique I suppose. I still think KY is the longest drive straight through. Just when you think you're out of the state.. BAM, Lexington.

KY is nothing. GA and Iowa are the longest. Iowa is probably the worst.

I've driven thru Iowa on 80 before and it's mind boggling dull. Not only is it insanely flat and insanely straight but you literally have to be careful of being hypnotized by the road. I remember driving thru in the early half of the morning and a large portion was under road construction and the damn cones were totally hypnotizing me. Scariest experience ever.

I gotta agree with Larry - driving through Texas is the worst. I was only going to San Antonio but still spent a full day just driving in Texas...

I'll be in holtsville again tomorrow actually for a 6am monday delivery. I'll leave here around 2pm and get there a little after 8 I believe. I come down over the tappen zee bridge on 87 to 287, 95s, 695s, 295s, to the LIE. There really isn't anywhere easy to park my work truck since it seems every exit has a 7'10" bridge. I need 13'6" and about 70' of vehicle.

I would like to meet both of you guys sometime. It's just not easy putting a tractor trailer in tight places down there. There was a huge accident on I 90 near Herkimer New York. I'm running two hours behind right now and won't get to my stop until 10 o'clock tonight. It's never easy coming from Syracuse down to the buisland. Lol.... If you see a big blue DOT Foods Truck running around it's probably me :-P

Yeah, if you got a schedule to keep to it ain't gonna happen. There's some spots off of 110 that are convenient for a 53 footer (I got my Class A out there) and some mediocre food is in the area. It'd probably be easier than the Clearview. I think you got my number, if you're gonna be around and have the time for a quick bite give me a holler.

Maybe we can stop completely detailing this thread now. Us NE assholes are always messing shit up.
