I already have air bags on it. The factory bags with spacers under them. This way it rides nice on the road and I can get extra lift if needed. No spinners ever on any of my vehicles.

Just upgrading the head unit will make that Bose system really sound good. I installed a Pioneer Navi unit in our Yukon with the Bose system and it sounded way better.

Drop back to 17"-18" wheels and get 35" tires!

But really, 20s with 32" tires won't do to good once you leave the pavement. Sorry if I come across a little harsh but we're not mall-crawlers around here.

I took 20's OFF my TBSS for off road performance.

Ok, I have a question. I am looking at a wheel that is 20x8.5 with a +15 with a 275/55R20. 32"x11. This wheel has a 5.4" back spacing. according to http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp . If I order these wheels they are no return so I need advice. I would like to run no spacers if possible. Any ideas if I will clear the ball joint. I hate to repeat a fitment question but there are so many awesome and smart people in this club. I can also get the wheel with a +38 offset which is pretty close to stock so a spacer is needed for that. I am trying to keep the tires in the wheel wells as much as possible to pass recon inspection in Maui. Any advice would be great.

You'll either hit the ball joint... Or be damn close to it with 20s and 32x11 tires. I know with 16s and 33x11.5 I am about 3ins from the ball joint and that's with spacers and 4in backspace

It might maybe squeak by, but it's going to be close if it does. You have the same info we do (I'm guessing you read the stickies since you mention backspacing). Since you are using a tire with little to no sidewall you might be ok. Other than Hardtrailz I dont think there's anyone on offroadtb that has ever put a 20 wheel on and then played with tire size. We just don't generally bother with a combo like that.

Have you checked on GMTnation? There's plenty of guys rollin around on 20s over there that could probably answer the question and give you specifics.

"Q: What size tires can i fit with the lift?
A: Without wheel spacers, you are limited to 30.5"
diameter tires due to the location of the upper
ball joints.
With wheel spacers you can run a 32" diameter tire"

That is a copy and paste from his website. The guys on this forum really don't like questions to be asked unless the information is hard to find. Since this is the first question in his Q and A section, that's not hard to find.

:happy whip: lol

this sticky also has a pretty good rundown of the lift required to fit various sizes of tires.
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2290

if you read the stickies you'll find the majority of all the info you need to get you pointed in the right direction.

So 20x8.5 with a 15 offset and a 275/55R20 installed. Clears the ball joint with a good 1/4-3/8 clearance. I can slide my fat fingers between them. I had to trim the plastic just a little. The tires only stick out of the wheel well 1/4 inch or so. I am very pleased. Will post pics tomorrow.
