These pics really helped. I got my body lift installed this weekend. As soon as I get my tires I will post pics.

One other thing though. The fuel filler hose is just hanging now. Any suggestions on securing it? I can make a bracket for it but wondering what others have done.

I didn't do anything for the filler hose. I need to look at it again. I only notice there is a little play at fill-up and I don't do that often :-)

I just got gas today. There is play in it for sure. It is not secured at all. I might have to fab a bracket for it this weekend.

I like the fact that everyone has driven with the body lift for long periods of time. I have 72000 miles and plan to drive it till it falls apart.

After the body lift install my steering is tight. No binding just tight. Not spinning back when turning a corner. Is this normal?

I have the Zone so mine was only 2 inches but I didn't notice any tightness. I have noticed a little "play" in the steering extension. I checked it and all the lock nuts are still tight. I might pull the extension back out and see if I can figure out where the play is coming from.

Has anyone installed their lift on a slight incline? My driveway slopes down towards the road, nothing crazy steep but its a couple degrees at least. Does anyone for see that being a bad idea of installed the lift on a sloped driveway? I do have other options, but all my tools are here in case something goes wrong. I don't want to have my vehicle somewhere without my tools or air compressor.

I would shim the tires to make it flatter, or do what I did and take the tires off and adjust it to be level using the four jack stands. You *are* using four jack stands?

Roadie, I'm not following you. When installing a body lift why would you need jack stands? I'm pretty sure I left all 4 wheels on the ground and just used 2 jacks to lift the body on each side.

I could see using jack stands, ramps or boards to level it up.

Yea I could go the jack stand route, not sure how safe I'd feel doing that. Maybe I'll just strip the bumpers and stuff then drive to the shop and install the blocks there, then do all the fine tweaking at home.

He said removing the tires...it has to sit on something then and jack stands are probably the best bet.

I did mine and several others with one jack and a 6x6, but I worked on level ground.

OP--I would have no issue doing it on not level ground as I drive the truck with the bolts loose to settle everything in anyway. Just watch to make sure the bolts are going straight in and not cross threading or anything.
