The temporary one on Trailvoy that I found was a simple misunderstanding. The SS trailblazer has air bag rear suspension. There are a number of reasons the air bags will over inflate making it look like it's lifted in the rear. Things like, unloading something heavy, lifting a trailer off, or even if you jack it up by the frame can cause this. As soon as you start engine, the suspension reads the height, and lowers the truck.

My buddy, Travis (devilisht or devilisht2003 on the SS board) lifted his for a bit, but something was weird about his frame, which made it like 1" higher on one side than the other, and couldn't be aligned with the lift, and just barely can align it at stock height.

Also, you say you're waiting to do armor unless somebody is selling some? It's just bumpers that I'm not taking orders for until fall/winter. I'm still selling/shipping oil pan and radiator skidplates, now.

I really like your skids. But your bumper kit totally kicks a$$! I'm intending to do your bumper kit, with french lights, 2" reciever and stinger bar. I also intend to get your radiator and oil pan skids either as a kit, or powder coated. I havn't decided yet... I guess I'm trying not to bother you since I havn't even gotten started yet. I figure lift first. Tires right away. And armor before I try to do any real off roading. Feel free to PM me a total for the things I want! I've read you're prices, but I'm asking for special stuff. (the add ons with the bumper, and skid plate kit pricing)

I had the same issue on my TB, even when it was stock. The drivers side was .75~ lower then the passenger side. I simply added a thicker spacer on the drivers side, and disconnected the front sway bar. After visiting a different Firestone, they were able to align it properly.

I still have no idea why the tb wanted to lean to the right. Bent frame maybe?

Mine sits fairly level now. I'm hoping that between an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear axle and the Radflo front suspension I can come close to getting it level and straight. I'm also considering the Massive adjustable control arms for further alignment adjustability. I'm aware control arms don't affect ride height. I guess I'll find out what the next step is after I take the first couple! lol

I LOVE the 4L80E and 246 Tcase swap. Without those, I probably wouldn't be planning the conversion. HARDTRALZ and Fishsticks have the closest I can find to what I think I'm going to end up with. Lift, Tire size, armor, ect. I just don't want to get ahead of myself. Not to mention, I'm having problems finding tires at a reasonable price. lol

Cheap off road capable tires anyone??? lol Needs to be 17" wheels!

Last time I was pricing decent sized tires they were in the $400 a piece range.

If the tires Mikekey has were $280 I'd jump on those.

I paid $340.00 for each tire. And the rims where $240.00 each, so I have no clue where I got the $280 in my head. Sometimes you remember reality wrongly. Luckily I have all my receipts.

I got 2 315/70 R17's off Craigslist today. BFG All Terrain and a sawzall are in my future! lol
