hey guys,new to off roading scene-i do drive on the beach in NC quite a bit, never really been off roading-guess i am an off road virgin? looking forward to doing some wheeling with you guys

i have a few mods i have a suspension max lift 1.25 in fornt 1.50 in the rear, i run 265-70-16 general grabber at2 tires & airaid cold air intake

Early SuspensionMAXX adopters were "special." Boy did folks look at us like we were crazy. And the OS was all about lowering, urban, audio-assault, show & shiny ones.

A few of us needed a place to unwind and escape from all the useless noobs on the OS, as we call the "Other Site". Where we made the rules, not had them imposed from above. And when trailvoy got bought out by new owners whose intentions are likely to be more ad-revenue-driven and paid-membership-driven, it made sense to talk about having a enthusiast-owned lifeboat where the functional offroaders could hang out and continue to communicate even if the OS imploded. But I don't have the technical chops to start up a site like this - thank Teebes and James Downing as the core for that. And now Mario.

I saw a post on the OS about off roading in the warton state forrest,sent out a pm and was refered over here(i forget who sent me)

Thats a 67 camaro pulling the wheelie on your avatar? I'm not so old school but would love to build a 68/69. Currently I have a 99 Trans Am with bolt ons a custom driveshaft, speed density tune, and a Moser 9".

yea that is a 68 camaro -i have a tube chassi 69 camaro the runs in the 9 second range (9.40s in good air)thanks for the link to this sight !

the main reason i wanted to go up with mine was to get through
the deeep sand and ruts with out getting stuck,seeing some of the rigs on here i am thinking i may have to go up again

33's sure are the new "standard" when the state of the art moved to 35's. I continue to shake my head at size creep.

Yeah!... what happened, I was pushing the limits with the 32" not too long ago! I'm being left behind with my still-plenty-of-tread-left M/Ts now!
