Heyy all, whats going on??? I'm new to the offroad world of TBs, even though i have had my blazer for about 5years, i needed new shocks and struts so i decided while it was all apart to mod away haha, i have a 2003 Trailblazer LTZ with the MarkMC lift,(kinda wished i went a different way, something more suited for offroad use), bilstein HD shocks and struts, other then springs new mounts for the struts upfront, custom drilled KMC XD Monsters 18x9 with 275/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers, i wanna start getting into some mild offroad,trail riding so this is my hello and any input on different lift options would be great, unless you guys think i would be fine with my setup

There is nothing wrong with MarkMC's lift, there are several people running those and don't take it easy on them.

high-voltage thanks for the link, after a run in with a few snowbanks the stock bumper is being held on by the 2screws under the grill(still sits pretty good, but its off for now) and its cheaper to get a metal bumper the it is to get an oem on and have it painted, Im in Red Bank,NJ exit 109-114 off the parkway, a kid i work with told me about some cool, not to crazy trails around jackson so hopefully spring/summer time we can get together and set up a little wheeling

I've still got my stock silver bumper... And yes, there are a few trails around here, whenever you want to go.

cool, i think i would just go with the metal bumper because if im rocking a stock bumper i would want it the same color so i would need paint, what do you guys think of a body lift for me, most of my driving is on road and in the snow to go snowboarding my wheels rub a tiny tiny bit on the back of the front wheel wells but thats it and when it comes to trail riding/offroading its gonna happen i hope but nothing to crazy, like rock crawling hardcore, stuff like that, just fun mellow trails, i cant be breaking stuff, down time of the truck is down time from work so let me know what you guys think, its 50-50 for me either way, im thinking no more then yes haha, i would most likely be getting the metal bumper and skids

nice man, ohh BTW i work at the sk ibarn 1/4 mile north of industrial way on RT.35, when i get off the parkway i take hope road to industrial way on my way to work every day haha, also seeing as your is also your daily what do you think of body lifts, i would prob do the zone or markmc, but idk if i want to do it i think 4wd is messed up so its not on my mind much i want my truck looking good and running good i hate not being able to pick what i want to do

I work at osteotech it will be 3/4 of the way down on industrial way on the right I work from 130pm to 1130am I have a silver TB with the front bumper off and a five foot cb antenna on the roof you cant miss it. Stop in. Thats too funny have you worked there long? I used to go there all the time. You guys have some good deals. Going boarding soon too LOL. Hopefully Gordinho80 is down for some mud this weekend you can come along.

ive been working there for about 6 months, ill keep a look out i work pretty much every day from 10-6ish pewter trailblazer no front bumper 18inch flat black wheels 32inch tires,maybe saturday i might be down but it will be my first time lifted with new wheels and tires that ive done more then just driving on the roads so we'll see, i think my 4wd is on its way out and like every car ive done stuff too i feel like it makes sounds it never has and it shouldnt be haha

and is the body lift really worth it for the kind of driving im doing, looking to do.... btw what do you have done to your truck

look at the build thread Mooseknuckle..look at them all that will keep ya busy. It depends on what you want to do. I want bigger tires to get that clearance you need a body lift. Even a 2" body lift will help a little. Its up to you!

im rocking 275/65/18's and i still dont know what i wanna do haha i know prob metal bumper and skid plates but then if i get the body lift might need a different bumper to fill the gap, i had modding anything.... tire size wise im not gonna go bigger maybe a tougher tire form the nitto i have now but thats not for a while, i wanna have some good, dirty, safe for me and the truck fun, trail riding water crossings i jsut dont know if it would be smart to invest in the zone body lift or not, hopefully we can get together some time check out what we each have and see whats right for me
