Metal bumpers etc ideas

Any special projects involving a decent amount of fab work (bumpers, sliders, roof racks, etc)

So what else are you two planning to do with this bumper?

Test fit it on his non bodylifted TB. I just picked up brushguard and think it will be fabbed onto it. It will hide all the center gap and provide light mounts. I have a cherokee brushguard that could be an option. Debating on reiciever and want to fill in side a bit, but may not if filling the center does enough. I just think that 8 inches looks fairly tll, so 12 would have been huge to get to my lights.

O and I gave it a quickie coat of rustoleum hammer finish black and picked up some new shackles for it.

Pic with paint still damp.

Matches sliders and skids better.

These pics are terrible. You can tell detail at all. Could you borrow a camera (not a cell phone) and take a pic in the day????

grrrr its still a bit hard to see the detail of the bumper because it is not lit well enough. I must say I am very interested.

Great pics. SO to confirm, a TB with no body lift would have no gap above the bumper and the skid plates will bolt right up, correct?

I know this is the prototype, so i was wondering what you think will change??

will a 2" receiver be added? maybe a set of fog light holes pre cut?

It'll be close, but yes, changes, if any, will be made to do so...

Optional receiver can be added, yes...

Fog light holes are just a couple circles, so sure, if wanted by individual case...

what gona be the final cost of the bumper with a receiver, fog light holes, and powder coating? Do you have any idea on the international shipping cost?

I don't know about powder coating yet (Maybe (Edit) $110, by square inches), but like I said before, bumper with shackle mounts will be $275, I suppose add $35 for the receiver (the part costs $20, plus extra racing material / welding), and maybe an extra $10 for light holes... I'll put on a coat of hammer-finish paint (like Kyle's sliders/skid/bumper) as standard, included in the cost...

Actually I do have a design that I made actually a couple the only thing is trying to figure how to weld it to the frame I did get a good idea of how to from hardtrailz so ill be going off of that a lot.

But I could probably use your help finalizing the designs and getting your input on it and maybe some help putting it together if you want to.
