Looking to go stock

New to the forum and trailblazers in general
I am from the pa, nj area
And am looking to buy or trade some parts.
Have a 2005 lifted Ls with body lift, suspension lift, three inch wheel spacers, 33in Yokohama tires, and I am lookin to go back to stock for my wife to drive daily.
Would really like to start with finding some rims and tires that will fit without the spacers due to me getting pulled over repeatedly for them. But would like to end up back to completely stock in the end. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and I will do my best to answer promptly.

Welcome!

Have you checked Craigslist for rims? Did you get rid of your originals?

3" spacers are extraordinary! There's really no need to go thicker than 1.5". I'm curious how you even found a vendor to build you 3" ones. The stress on the wheel bearings would make that very hard to keep running offroad.

Ahhh, maybe you bought it that way? From somebody who wasn't a member here?

Might be wrong Roadie but I'm thinking that his spacers are 1.5inches on each side and therefore have widened the truck 3inches in total.

Too bad you're not closer. I have two sets of stock TB rims.

Oh.... And welcome to the forum

Just got a set of stock rims today. Now just looking for some bigger than stock tires for the 16in rims. Like some285/75/16 or something. I will double check the width of the spacers when I take them off. I do know that they also changed the lug pattern a bit. I was told it may have converted to a Toyota lug pattern. But I didn't build it so not sure. They are 15in black wagon wheels with 33-12.5-15 yokohamas with spacer/adapters that I'm looking to get rid of. Also in the market for a front bumper. Also will be removing and selling the body lift.

286/75/16 is a 33in tire, you'll need spacers and a lift for them.

The wheel spacers are likely 1.5" thick wheel adapters. The trailblazers came with a 6 on 5" bolt pattern while full size chevy, and most toyotas (among some others) used a 6 on 5.5" bolt pattern. They are popular because wheels with that bolt pattern are far easier to find. So, if you measure that they are 5.5" span between opposing wheel studs, then you do have wheel adapters and can advertise them as such!

Good luck! Some of these parts could sell quick! (obviously gotta price them right)

It's not how fast you go. It's how quick you get there. Lifted TBSS Build

285 will not fit without the parts you are getting rid of. You need to go down to a 30.5 inch tire or about 245-255ish if you drop the truck down and remove the spacers and desire to clear the ball joint.

Got any pics of the truck? Prolly some of us have seen it and may be able to offer advice better.

I'd love to see some pictures. I thought it might be that 2wd TB that was on craigslist around here for a while, but it looks like that was an '03.

I wonder if the rear springs/struts were upgraded. I'd be interested if they're the z71 springs or skyjacker springs. But I'm not sure the extent of disassembly you'll be doing.
