What up guys. Im shawn from Pine Bluff Arkansas. love the site.. im new here.. i have a 04 trailblazer 2 wheel drive..
Wish it was 4x4 but that’s just what I got.. Im running 255 70s.. I just wont to get
The tires out a little bit.. ya know make it look more off road. put on a light bar an a bull bar..an mount the spare tire up top…I guess just for looks.. but I will say iv taking my trailblazer up in some Places that you would think a 2 wheel drive would not go. .anyway just to get the tires out should I get 2 inch spacers?? I don’t have a lot of cash to put in but I still need it safe to drive on the highway.. just trying to make it look more tuff….i know a lot of you guys mite rag me for trying to off road a 2 wheel drive.. but that’s what I have to work with.. any input would be nice…im on dial up so it would take me a week to look it all up.. im sure you guys can tell me just what I need to get.. Thanks in advance.. Shawn..

You will find more information on looks via the GMTNation.com site.

Sound like you need to contact MarkMC and get some 1.5 inch wheel spacers or adaptors if you are switching rims.

---Bull Bar will hurt you offroad due to changing your approach angle

--Tire on top will hurt your MPG

-Do you have the G80 option(look in glovebox)? It will be a huge help for 2wd.

Welcome.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

This, and it increases the damage in any form of front end collision. There's a reason insurance adjusters, body shops, and mechanics refer to Bull Bars as "Damage Multipliers". They really have no functional use aside from holding lights and making you buy chrome polish.

You'll probably do like most of us, start with a "mild lift", catch the mod bug, and end up addicted. Beware though, this is NOT an inexpensive hobby..

Welcome. One of my most capable local buddies had 2WD, but the G80 locker. We could talk him through lumpy hill climbs where another buddy with 4WD and no locker needed a strap assist multiple times.

Just don't go for the lifted mall cruiser look and never get it dirty. I call those things Lifts Meant For Appearance Only, and you can why by see the acronymn.
