Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Hello from Southeast Michigan

Hello,

I am a long time lurker only recently registered. I have already gained tremendous knowledge while lurking and finally decided it was time to jump in. I have a 2006 LT with the 5.3L v8. It is currently lifted using Mark's lift. The overall purpose of my TB is for camping which in the areas I enjoy requires limited off-road capacity.

Lurking is smart but jumping in is more fun.

Welcome. Do you have the body lift or suspension?

Howdy, I think you've probably noticed that's what the vast majority of us use our trucks for, a modest lift and a rad and oil panskid goes a long way towards making these things pretty capable as a nice camping rig.

I know the area quite well my dad lives in Tecumseh. I'm going to be moving just north of Jackson in Springport in a month. Mild offroading and camping setup is exactly what I am going to be doing too. I already have Marks 3" suspension lift waiting in storage. Let me know if you know some good trails around, and maybe we'll get a meeting going sometime next year. :camping:

Welcome from southwest Michigan

Jon, you won't be too far from my neck of the woods. My cousin races at Springport.
Not much for offroading over here...

cool the wife and I wanted to check out the races next year. Bundy Hill is close, but we prefer more trail riding like we do up north
