Hello folks. My name is Reggie and I own a 2003 LTZ 4x4. I stumbled on this website while doing some research on prepping and bug out vehicles. Right now my TB is an I-95 commuter vehicle, but I plan to start converting it to an offroad/hunting/bug out beast. My main interests right now are a bigger wheel tire package, and stiffening the mushy suspension. I'm also looking for great examples of shotgun racks or vaults for our TBs. Thanks in advance for all the advice and ideas as I start this journey.

welcome you will fit right in, be sure to check out the build threads. My goals with mine are the same almost. I setup my 03 LTZ for long haul expedition on/offroad and bug out scenarios.

Thanks everyone. Mike, it was actually your build that I ran across. I love your build...I might have to just copy some of your ideas since I plan to keep it highway friendly, but capable in the backwoods of VA. I'm sure I will have plenty of quetions for you later.

Lots of VA natives and residents here, I myself even hail from Va Beach for 28yrs before moving to this hell hole. Cheers in your quest! Be sure to post up some pics of your rig when you get a chance, and also add your location to your profile, helps members!

Let me be the first from VA to welcome you. Update your location so everyone knows what area you are from since as you know I-95 covers a wide area. You may be in someone's backyard that can help you out one day.

Right around the corner from you Bobby. I was commuting from Stafford to Lorton, but now I'm headed into the dreaded DC.

I trust me I know your pain. I work for communications company that travels nationwide. But our main area is VA, MD, and DC.
