Looking bad. I got the bearing changed, and brake rotor and pad on the driver's side. Now I may have a CV shaft problem on the passenger's side I saw while I was changing rotor and pad on that side (because I needed them to be identical.) And I'm working a white hot design project at work that I need to work at least one day this weekend. Damn. So I think it's about 75% chance I can't wheel with you this trip. I'm bummed. At least you hit Palomar Mt.
I can recommend a couple of scenic places to go if you drive straight east on I8.
