Hey Guys & Gals

I'm Completely new to this and it is great that there are enough of us to have a forum. I have a 2003 Envoy and have just started making mods. Currently have Nitto 265/75/17s and a 3" lift up front. I am just using the air ride in back to raise it up for now. Just got the Z71 springs and shocks in yesterday. Good thing I hit a deer last year coming home from hunting last year because the wife likes the way the heavy bumper looks so will be replacing that soon.

Looking forward to using the resources here and meeting new people. Would love to get out on the trail for a group ride.

Welcome. I am always happy to see another Envoy. There aren't to many of us.

The Z71 shocks suck, plan on replacing them soon if you want a decent ride.

The shocks were a package deal for the springs. I just filtered through the forum and discovered that I'll be replacing the shocks soon. :viking:

yup, I went with the package deal as well. I can promise you I am hating life right now, the ride is terrible. Unfortunately, I saw a need for armor more important then replacing the shocks. I have a new radiator skid and bumper, oil pan skid amd rock rails on order, but still running the Z71 shocks. :wallbash:

Without weight on the rear it's rough... the trick is to put some sand bags back there... or equipment.

By the way, welcome to the cause Jimbo!

Not to hijack the thread, but I have 75lbs in subs, and 50-60lbs in tool boxes, plus some misc other crap. The ride is still pretty rough, and it feels like the shocks are topping out at their full extension pretty easily.

So is that with the BDS 55619s or is anyone running a different shock / Z71 spring set up? :salut:
