Hello all, I live in the concrete jungle of Indianapolis. Just finished paying off the Trailblazer this year, it was my wife's vehicle. She wanted a 4WD truck so I traded my vehicle in for her new one. I am now the driver of the TB and it's time to make it mine. Right now it is an all stock 2002 Trailblazer LT 4WD with 193,000 miles on it, and non G80 rear end (didn't see it listed in the glove box). So onto planning the upgrades.

What I want over time: suspension lift, body lift, custom front and rear bumpers, tires, roof rack, extra lights, and skid plates.

Unfortunately how much time it will take is unknown because we do have horses and my wife would like to sink more money into them. I am primarily looking for enough upgrades to be able go out off the beaten path for my photography passion and just to get away. It would also be nice to go with my neighbor out on the trails (he has 2 Rubicons).

The items like custom bumpers and roof racks don't scare me, I figure my buddy and I can weld those up. We are both farm boys and are used to fabricating our own crap up.

I will be honest, I am excited to be a member. I have been reading stuff on here for about a week now as a guest (I am/was a member at the OS). I've looked at James Downing website on the mods he has done there and love it, that is what brought me here. With that said, I have limited knowledge on the building up of a TB, I search and read a lot before doing something (sometimes its a bad thing) so I am not sure how much I am going to be able to input my thoughts on subject matter until my hands are a little more greasy. Up till now, I have worked on my own motors, maintenance, and put a short arm kit on a Jeep Cherokee.

Hopefully there will be some others around Indy to meet and hit some trails with in the future. Thank you for the knowledge that has already been put up on the boards it has given me some great input for my future build.

Jake
