Just picked up an 04 Trailblazer this summer from my stepbrother as a winter/inclement weather vehicle since I have a modded mustang as my primary summer ride. The most offroad experience I have is in an Army Humvee and even then it is kind of minimal and a few years ago. Isn't too much to get into in central Ohio, but on the outskirts there's some mud, and light rock so nothing too heavy locally unless I want to travel a bit. Started looking over some of your guys' builds and I like what I see, hopefully as the income rolls in I'll be able to slowly build up and crawl-walk-run with trail experience.

You've found the right place.
I own too many vehicles now. Let's leave it at that.

This is the right place for you to do that. And to be honest when I first started looking into mods for my TB I was very happy about prices. Everyone I know with a lifted truck has spent more on just their 6"suspension lift(on average $1,200-$1,600 in my area) then I have on my suspension lift, tires, body lift, and skid plates. The body lift and skid plates I have not purchased yet that will come later but I had added everything up and was pleasantly surprised.

Ams oil products bumper to bumper, Treadwright Guard Dogs, 3 inch suspension lift, 3 inch body lift 1.5" spacers, swaybar trashcan mod, quad headlight mod

I wouldn't even be thinking about modding it if the price wasn't right. Started as an idea, then I did the same thing I did with my mustang and searched forums. Been hooked to this one for the past week and a half as I looked through and came up with a game plan. I'm giving the project a green light and I think I can make most of my suspension purchases from my next check, but I'll probably have to hold off on tires and other things I want until later on.

If you need help with anything I am not too far away. Indianapolis. Congrats on the new ride.

Welcome from a Northern Indiana neighbor. IF you need any help give me a shout. I have done enough lifts on this platform that I can do it in my sleep. I will be glad to help any way I can.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

Welcome, I live in between Cincinnati and central Ohio, every roll through the area or in need of someone to go wheeling with, hit me up with a pm. Glad to see there are a good bit of people from Ohio building up their tbs/envoys/gmt 360/370.
