I'm good for July 25-27 but I don't know about the other two dates.

If there were one particular weekend that was really showing up as a consensus I'd have been happy to choose it, but it doesn't seem to be working out.

Instead, I added a poll to this thread. If you will/can attend one of the weekends listed (or all of them) please vote. If there's only a very slim chance that you will make the drive and attend if it is on that date, then please do not vote.

Looks like there are two most highly desired dates:
July 18-20, 2014
July 25-27, 2014
Similar to what we saw before. Is there anyone that voted for one of those and not the other that could possibly meet either date?
I was really hoping the voting would have produced a clearer winner.

Any additional thoughts?

I bet people voted for both of those dates, since it's possible to vote for more than one option. Is it possible to see who voted for both of them?

The dates that work best for Bacon are best for me.

No, its not. And it was intentional that people could vote for all dates that they could attend, not just the one they liked best.

Maybe I will be ready for T11. Lol I still don't have it on the road. I'm getting close though. I'm getting tired of my 42hp Tracker.

I might have to move this back to Aug or Sept. I have a bunch of work travel coming up that doesn't have dates yet. I would hate to set a date and not be able to make it. I'm also on the hunt for a different venue. I love the place that we've been going, but I think I need something new. Just unsure of where to find it yet. Need to go exploring on my own a bit after I get these new gears in.

I like VA, WV, and NC mountains as options. I mainly only know of areas in VA though.

I don't know of any off-road trails sadly, but the area around the New River is pretty spectacular.

Tellico is closed, and has been for a while. As far as I know, it hasn't been reopened since this ruling:

Very interesting, using the same name makes it a bit confusing! Seems to be a viable option. Would make the drive quite long for anyone coming from the north.

Also, kinda expensive for a 3 day 2 night event. Looks like the total would be in the range of $80 per person for a weekend. Not terrible, but it adds to the expense, and isn't nothing.

I was just looking at that place, I think they have a deal with Snowbird too, or they might be one in the same.

I might be able to talk to a guy I know that lead a trail ride I was on back in sept 2012,we hiked down a mountain trail to a cool waterfall, about killed my big ass hiking back up.

The WaterFall

Several options for camping, this area works really well with base camping, Crawfords is a great campground with a rockgarden to challenge even the best build TB. A friend I camp with in GA got engaged there, the owner bought the engagement ring as a wedding gift, then got ordained because the the bride to be wanted him to marry them. Good people.

Rock Garden- the guy holding the strap is the owner of Southeast Overland.

Biggest down side is DurhamTown Tellico is not free, $27 for the first day and it goes down a little each day its a little over $60 for 3 days but you don't really need but one or two so I would just hit the FS the other day/s.

I think it actually about 1-1.5hrs closer for Mike or Kyle, and would cut the Keys and Bacon's drive down by 4hrs. NY and PA it would add 5-6 hrs, it is 1hr longer for me too and I don't even have to leave the state!
