stuck at work without the tb and thinking....

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

anyone know or can measure the interior height of the cargo area for me?

if not ill do it in the morning, but im bored and thinking of the tb now...


Trying to see what it would take to stand up a 40" spare...

39.5 as per findings online. I know I had my 32 in there and it was snug... Rubbed where the headliner dips at the opening. 40" is gonna be tough, might have to load it in on an angle then stand up inside, maybe even remover headliner.

just air it down till it fits! you'll have some means to air it back up right?

Bad news... highest point inside from the floor is about 37". Highest opening to load it is only about 33". Not looking good for a 40" spare to stand up in there.

yeah, I went and measured, even if I could stand it up, I still cant get it to fit between the seat and the gate. So, guess it has to stay laying down. but its big enough that the 60 side of the 60/40 has to folded down for it to fit.


Oh well, on to more important issues.

Back seats are not required you know, I'm looking for a car now and when I get one the TB becomes the TOY and the rear seats will be a memory.

I have a daughter, if I wanted a 2 seater I'd drive a pickup...

But ill worry about the spare later.
