Aw man... that sucks! I've only been here for about 6 months, and you guys were my favorite new members. Awesome wife surprising her husband with truck mods for bday. We were really looking forward to meeting you hubby.

Well don't get me wrong, if we end up finding an awesome deal on a super sweet TB then we'll definitely be getting another one. But now that we know what we're looking for in a TB, it'll be harder to find. G80, low mileage, excellent maintainance record, and preferably a 2006 LT (those front ends have become more appealing)

:Iagree: With everything except the G80 part. Upgrade to an ext axle and put in a locker of some sort.

Edit: Refer to this thread for why no on G80: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=4086

Good discussion on the G80 topic here.

If you're looking for another TB I'd probably hold onto the lift. I also wouldn't be sold on the g80 either. Glad you guys are ok after the wreck.

Thats the thing, the "plan" is to get something else.. I was just saying if we stumble on an unforgettable deal we might go with it. But we've done some major searching already and no TB's are in our area within our time frame to get another vehicle. (We only have one vehicle because our schedules work out perfectly so we're kind of strapped for time)

If you like the 2006, look for a V8 in the short wheel base (first year for this). More power and stronger rear axle right out of the gate.
I own too many vehicles now. Let's leave it at that.
