I have lucked into a COMPLETE set of what looks to be factory fender flares (wheel well moldings) for the short wheel base. Never painted never mounted and looks to have the install kit. When I bought it they said it was for a EXT. Well....not the case. My loss your gain. :wallbash: $150.00 takes them!!!! Might be up for a trade let me know what you have.

factory? I was under the impression that mass produced fender flares don't exist for our platform. What brand? Where did you buy them?

The North Face and the LTZ had these. I bought them from a individual here in Indianapolis. Dealer says they are no longer in production. There are no markings on the plastic wrap other than made in Australia.

Those apear to just be the plastic overlays for two toned TB's. LT, LTZ's, and North face editions utilize them.

See example in the picture.

Looks like they will be a 3/4 inch out from the fender. GM called them wheel well moldings.

You should ship them off to someone who can make a mold for wider ones and let them base the design off these.

Rare opportunity here.

Fiberglass maybe? Surely someone on here could find a hookup. Post in the other forum?

The trails would rip those apart if they were made of fiberglass.

Fiberglass would hold up reasonably. Hit it decent and it's shit. But cheap flares might be good enough

They key would be expectations. If you bought a flare and treated it as disposable you'd be fine.

Todd, I'll give you $30. I have significant fab experience with composites. I'll build flares and I'll make them as cheap as i can with fiberglass materials. I can only make flares in one size to ensure I can break even.

Flares still won't be cheap. But I might be able to get them reasonable.

So, you found a buyer? No dice on making bigger flares?
