If you're truly talking about oscillation (which is what we take when you say "bounce"), adding weight will only make it oscillate more. Shocks are your only remedy, but seeing as you have 5500, I doubt that is your issue, unless they are defective or very old.
If you're experiencing hard impacts from bumps, then yes, you just need some weight back there. You should always be prepared for the zombies anyways, so it sounds like you may need to get some gear in order!
