BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

FWIW, guys, looking through this thread, it would seem that there was some light/standard razzing for this kind of question, followed by Tenny being a dick, followed by others being dicks. He doesn't seem like somebody who can't handle it, and needs to be apologized to, for others being not quite as big of dicks to him as he was back.

Also, I've heard about one lifted SUV, seen the back bumper of another lifted SUV, and seen a couple pictures of a third lifted SUV. Where are these trucks you're talking about? :finger: :poke:

Your location would help, unless I missed it. Guessing you're from Jersey or someplace where they call SUVs "trucks"? Location would also help explain the instant dialing to 11 of the attitude. Somebody sees "NJ" (or other north east coast location) as a location in a sig, and they know not to take it personally, because the poster is from Jersey/NY/MD/wherever, and that's how it is, there (with a higher than average number of the population, anyway. Not everybody).

If it has 4x4 and frame, I generally call it a truck. I do not call anything an SUV, never really have.

Considering what are called "SUVs" today.....(CUVs come to mind), I'd be more inclined to call mine a truck. But I'm also originally from NY, so soda, not pop.

Farmington Hills is the Midwest, but it's not exactly farm country. Around here (for the most part, as I know Kyle disagrees), "heavy duty trucks" are semis and dump trucks, "Medium duty trucks" are grain haulers and the UHual trucks and F450 and up, "light trucks" are 1-ton duallies down to 3/4 ton, and 1/2 tons are just called half tons. "SUVs" are the ones that can go offroad or tow something and usually have a full frame (though not always. See Grand Cherokee and Cherokee), then there's car-based SUVs, then there's cars. Then again, half the people around here are either farmers, or design/build/test medium and heavy duty truck and tracked vehicle transmissions.

To me there are cars and trucks and jeeps. Cars include x-overs and junk like that. Trucks have a frame, might be a pick up body or suv body or a big rig body. Jeeps are, well, fun but not strong whether topless or in the suv form.

I just don't get that specific.

true, but I moved to the city by mistake only been here 4 years. That is why the wife and I are trying to move back to the country like where we both grew up. I grew up in South Lyon which used to be the horse capital of MI. We are hoping we can get around 5 acres and start our small farm. and never again be in a city!!!!! :slap:

Shucks, my Corvette is actually a pickup truck? Guess I'll have to throw some swampers on it and show some trailer park pride. :drive:

Nope. I did not say everything with a frame was a truck, but those with the bodies I mentioned: I do consider a truck. I sure did not mention car bodies on frames were trucks.

You seem to be trying to read things into my posts that just are not there today. Not really sure why.

Had a couple members ask me what I did to you, so I am not the only one not getting the humor of your postings today.

Sounds like some guys need to settle down to me. I can't say Kyle is being anymore touchy than Mike. I know we all get a sandy mangina occasionally but c'mon.
