Looks like it's time for some new control arms for the rear to re-position your axle.

I think we're backwards though. You upgraded the front springs without adding weight. I added weight but didn't upgrade my front springs. I'm saving for Radflo... But she's dropping in the front a bit now.

Yeah right! I would like to level it out in the front a little more, but I like the ride of it how it is,so i don't want to go heavier on springs! With it jacked up I have no binding in the front, so I was thinking of unbolting the front upper two bolts and seeing where it binds and maybe a 1/2 spacer on top of marks 3"! The only problem is I have to take the spring apart to do this. But then again if I want the height I will have to do this to swap springs
If needed I would just put some limiting straps on the front. I would like a little more resting height from it. The first week I had no rubbing on the firewall side and now I have a little.

When I talked to Mark about that exact approach, he told me anything more than the 3" spacer on the front now will cause binding issues on the CV axles and highly recommended against this. Just an FYI.

Also, THague just ordered 88's from GMPartsOnline and they were confirmed shipped. We're waiting for him to get them in his hands, but that might be another route you may want to look at if it's true. The 81114s are between 86 and 87s IIRC, so the ride quality will be negligible.

For an ext mod, you have to have at least 17" rims, correct? Is it just the rotor and bridges that get switched? Caliper and pads remain the same, right?

it could be 16s with the right back spacing, and the rotors and the caliper bracket are the only pieces that are replaced.

Matt nailed it. It may be possible with the right backspacing, the only verified and tested combo is with 17s. That's why I was asking about his wheels cause he was talking 16s for a good while.

Since the caliper tapers down on the outside I would think that if the inside of the rim stayed outside the high point of the caliper a 16 could work. The tires would definitely stick out a good bit though.
