Since the caliper tapers down on the outside I would think that if the inside of the rim stayed outside the high point of the caliper a 16 could work. The tires would definitely stick out a good bit though.

I am running 16x8 alum 4"bs with marks adapters
Pads and calipers are the same
Bridges and rotors are from a ext
