On what? You might turn them into paddles in the mud, but they will not be a good simulation of mud tires with self-cleaning lugs. I would not take those things into mud. Depending on what the bottom of the mud pit is, you might bite on rocks. But if it's bottomless mud, I just gotta ask why do it at all? What kind of fun is it going to be cleaning up from the mess?tarsh wrote:My though would be better grip

Because the consensus from over hundreds of years worth of collected driving and vehicle ownership experience here is that it's a dumb, risky idea with no possible upside. If you can't afford new or even better used tires, it's a BAD IDEA to mess with the ones you have.tarsh wrote:I need new ones anyway so y not try it.
Loved ones who complain when you do something to improve their safety and the safety of the public are just being short-sighted. I used to market all SORTS of mods to the Roadiemobile as "safety improvements". Mrs. Roadie only told me years later she was seldom fooled, and just played along with me to shut me up.tarsh wrote:Then the ol lady can't bitch about it

P.s. if u do blow them up I will have to afford new ones. Then the ol lady can't bitch about it

Save up for some tires, even if they're used tires with better tread you'll be ahead of the game.
